Terms of Service

Effective Date: November 2026 • Platform Operator: Expolio Group

1. Parties and Acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of ClassPilot, including its websites, portals, software, features, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is provided by Expolio Group (“Expolio”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

“Customer” means the coaching centre, academy, training institute, organisation, or individual accepting these Terms. By creating an account, registering an institute, starting a trial, or using the Service, the Customer agrees to these Terms. If the user accepts on behalf of an organisation, the user represents that they are authorised to bind that organisation.

2. Service Scope and Changes

ClassPilot is a software platform designed to provide institute administration, student and batch management, attendance tracking, fee and installment ledgers, course catalogues, question generation assistance, and reporting functionality. Features vary by plan tier, configuration, and release.

We may update, enhance, or adjust features, provided we do not intentionally remove a material paid feature during a committed subscription term without reasonable notice, except where required for security, legal compliance, or third-party dependency changes.

3. Accounts and Authorised Users

The Customer must provide accurate registration details, maintain the confidentiality of administrative credentials, enable security controls, and promptly revoke access for departing personnel. Shared credentials, unauthorized credential resale, and bypassing tenant access controls are strictly prohibited.

4. Customer Responsibilities and Student Data

The Customer is solely responsible for the lawfulness, accuracy, and appropriate collection of data it enters or uploads, including student, parent/guardian, and faculty information. The Customer must provide required notices, obtain consents where legally required (especially concerning minor learners), restrict access to authorised personnel, and comply with all applicable education, consumer, and privacy laws.

5. Fees, Taxes and Payment

Subscription fees, billing frequency, and plan limits are displayed before checkout. Unless specified otherwise, platform fees are payable in the stated currency, exclusive of applicable taxes. The Customer authorises our designated payment processors to execute recurring subscription charges.

6. Free Trials and Subscriptions

When a 14-day free trial is offered, included features and limitations are disclosed at signup. Initial trial registration does not require credit card submission. If the Customer chooses not to convert to a paid plan upon trial expiration, administrative access to paid features will be suspended while data is retained for account recovery. Cancellation of a paid subscription stops future auto-renewals at the end of the paid term.

7. Acceptable Use

Users must not: reverse engineer or decompile the software; probe, scan, or breach system security; upload malware or unauthorized content; scrape or harvest other customers' data; or use AI tools to generate unlawful, defamatory, or deceptive content. Credible abuse reports may result in suspension or termination.

8. Intellectual Property & Customer Content

The Customer retains all ownership rights in content and records submitted to the platform. The Customer grants Expolio a limited licence to host, process, back up, and transmit Customer Content solely as necessary to operate and support the Service. Expolio retains all intellectual property rights in the ClassPilot software, branding, code, and user interface.

9. Course Providers & Independent Institutes

ClassPilot is a software platform and does not itself deliver, accredit, or certify courses offered by independent institutes. Unless expressly stated in a specific order, Expolio is not responsible for an independent institute’s teaching quality, attendance policies, placement assurances, or tuition refund obligations.

10. Governing Law, Dispute Resolution & Notices

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. In the event of any dispute, the parties agree to engage in good-faith written discussions for 30 days prior to initiating formal legal proceedings before courts of competent jurisdiction.
